"Blue Christmas" Service at Calvary Church - co-sponsored by Interweave

Feeling blue?  While the Christmas season can bring warm family fun and celebrating joyful traditions, for some, the holidays are not happy, festive times.  Those in challenging life circumstances can feel left out of the good cheer others are enjoying.  A "Blue Christmas" is planned for Sunday, December 19, at 4 PM, at Calvary Church in Summit. This special service uplifts the spirits while honoring the sadness and loss that life can bring. The Rev. Dr. Robert Corin Morris, Executive Director of Interweave and priest at Calvary, will lead this Blue Service, which includes readings, singing, reflective meditation and prayer. Even if the "holiday spirit" eludes us, the very real meaning of Christmas is still present. All are welcome to this non-denominational service.  Come and be part of the peace and promise of the season.  Calvary Episcopal Church is at the corner of Woodland and Deforest Aves, Summit.  For additional information, call (908) 273-8509 or (908) 277-1814.
