Summit JCC Nursery School Lottery for the 2011-12 Year

Registration for all classes at the Summit JCC Nursery School  for the 2011-2012 school year will take place using a lottery system and is open to the public.

The Summit JCC's nursery school offers a broad array of year-long programs for pre-schoolers and kindergartners  in a warm and nurturing environment.  You can register for:

1.     Classes for ages 2, 2 ½, 3 and 4 year olds: we offer academically age appropriate classes with low student teacher ratios and CPR certified, experienced staff.  We offer a Jewish and secular curriculum with emphasis on play-based learning. We will offer half and full day class options for our pre-kindergarten students.

2.     Kindergarten Enrichment program, Learning Adventures: this academic-based course encompasses language, literature, math, science, music, art, computers, and movement. The maximum class size is ten, allowing for individualized attention by our certified teacher.  Learning Adventures is open to children who will be 5 years old by September 30, 2011.  This program is appropriate for children in half-day kindergarten as well as children who need an extra year before beginning kindergarten.

3.     The Wee Two program: this program is a great introduction to the nursery school environment.  Led by a Nursery School teacher, participants will share social activities, playtime, arts and crafts, songs and stories and experience Nursery School routines. Children must be 16 months old by September 30, 2011 and attend class with a parent or caregiver.  A few openings are still available for the Spring 2011 session too.
