The Preschool at Kent Place Announces An Evening Discussion and Information Session

The Preschool at Kent Place School announces an evening discussion and information session featuring Dr. Adunni Anderson, Director of the Primary School on Thursday, January 5 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Dr. Anderson will be speaking on the topic of “From Toddlerhood to Preschool: Raising Competent, Resourceful and Happy Children.” An admission information session for prospective families will follow.

The Preschool at Kent Place provides a strong foundation for boys and girls ages 3 to 5. Comprised of a Nursery and Pre-Kindergarten Program, the Preschool is part of Kent Place School and enjoys the use of the school’s state-of-the-art facilities and beautiful 26-acre campus. Teachers within the Preschool are well trained and highly educated in the field of early childhood development. They encourage the boundless curiosity of children and direct their exuberance into academic, social, emotional and physical growth.

Dedicated specialists provide children with enriching experiences in the areas of world language, music, art, physical education, drama and movement, science and technology. In Pre-Kindergarten, students have one semester each of French and Spanish. Preschool students also have many opportunities to interact with older Kent Place students through various assemblies and partnerships. "Educating the whole child - your child - through developmentally appropriate practices that nurture and support the social, emotional, intellectual and physical growth and development of each student is the hallmark of our Preschool Program," remarked Dr. Anderson.

At Kent Place, children develop a love of learning, confidence, moral awareness and social responsibility within a safe and encouraging environment. The entire school community is galvanized by a common purpose to lead, educate and serve. These lessons begin at the earliest of ages and endure for a lifetime.
