Your Adaptable Brain: Enhancing Neuroplasticity with Mindfulness, Meditation and Imagination Practices

You have the ability to shape your brain in new ways! Current research in both neuroscience and mindfulness practice offers great encouragement for expanding the plasticity of our brains and thereby enlarging the possibilities of living ever increasingly creative lives. In this workship, we will learn something of recent neuroscience research and explore relevant practices for greater mindfulness. You will also experience how imaginal journeying opens and deepens our neural pathways and our living with greater spiritual intention.

Judith Schmidt, Ph.D., is an imagery, dream and trauma therapist whose work is inspired by Winnicott, Jung, and Buddhist and Jewish spirituality. A Doctor of Clinical Psychology, Dr. Schmidt did post-doctoral work in Object Relations, and studied Waking Dream Therapy with Collette Muscat in Jerusalem.

Please bring with you an unlined journal and any art supplies you would like to use during this workshop.
