Franklin 4th Grader Places 16th At State Spelling Bee

• Whiz Kid's Accomplishment: Zachary placed 16th in the state finals of The New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs Spelling Bee. The state final, which pitted fourth and fifth grade winners of regional spelling competitions from around the state, was held March 12 at NJSFWC Headquarters on the campus of Douglass Residential College at Rutgers University in New Brunswick.
• Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: Zach placed sixth in the regional spelling bee held February 26, for which he received a U.S. Savings Bond and a Bonds and Noble gift card. The N. J. State Federation of Women’s Clubs is a service organization that raises money for the Valerie Fund, which works to support comprehensive health care for children with cancer and blood disorders.
