Oak Knoll Upper School Principal Accepts Appointment as Founding Head of Trinity Hall

Mary Sciarrillo will leave June 30 for new, all-girls, Catholic school in Monmouth County.

Upper School Principal Mary Sciarrillo has accepted an appointment as the founding head of a new all-girls, Catholic school in Monmouth County and will be resigning her post June 30, 2013.

“Starting an all-girls school like Oak Knoll has been a personal and professional dream of mine,” Sciarrillo said.

Sciarrillo will head Trinity Hall, the newly established all-girls high school starting up in Middletown's Croydon Hall campus, which is slated to open in September.

“Trinity Hall made an outstanding decision in Mary’s selection,” said Head of School Timothy J. Saburn. “She is ready for this challenge. Not many of us have the opportunity in life to live our dream.”

While Oak Knoll School conducts a yearlong, nationwide search for Sciarrillo’s successor, Saburn will take on the role of Interim Principal for the 2013-14 school year in addition to continuing to serve as Head of School.
