Schools Will Close Wednesday for Snow Day

No word yet on sporting events scheduled for Wednesday.

The Summit Public Schools will send out an alert to parents at 6 p.m. announcing that schools will be closed tomorrow due to the impending snow storm.

Superintendent Dr. Nathan Parker said the decision is a collaborative effort between administrators and police but also takes into consideration what other districts are doing.

"I think this enables parents to make plans for tomorrow and families," Parker said. "I think it's the right thing do."
