Summit Elementary School Students Perform in 'Brayton's Got Talent'

About 100 students were featured in 20 acts, which ranged from song and dance performances to comedy skits and gymnastics.

Brayton Elementary School held their annual Variety Show,“Brayton’s Got Talent,” on Friday, Feb. 1.

A Brayton family favorite event, the show was hosted by emcees from the 5th grade and included 100 children featured in more than 20 acts ranging from song and dance performances, and comedy skits to gymnastics and hula hoop routines.

The Variety Show is always a highlight for the Brayton community, as it offers students a chance to beat the winter doldrums by performing for their friends and families. This year’s show was especially entertaining due to the creativity and originality of the students.

The Variety Show also marks a bittersweet milestone as the 5th graders begin to say goodbye to their beloved Brayton in the jubilant and often tearful 5th Grade Finale.

The school is now looking forward to bringing back the Brayton Musical. Students from the 4th and 5th grade are hard at work rehearsing for “Aladdin, Jr.” which they will perform on Thursday, Mar. 7.
