Summit Boosters Award $8K to Scholar Athletes
The scholarships were awarded this week to athletes attending schools such as Rutgers, University of Georgia and Penn State.
This year, as a result of the continued support of the community, the continued the tradition of providing eight Howard S. Anderson Scholar Athlete Awards.
Four young men and four young women received scholarships of $1,000 each. This prestigious award is in honor of long-time coach and athletic director, Howard S. Anderson. This year’s recipients are:
- Alexandra Hoesly (Rutgers University)
- Nicole Johnson (University of Georgia)
- Kate Martino (University of North Carolina)
- Bridget O’Brien (Penn State University)
- Ryan Bringewatt (The College of the Holy Cross)
- Levi Glick (College of Wooster)
- William Hadley (Ithaca College)
- Stefano Stadlinger (Bates College)
