Summit Public Schools Thanks Fortnightly Club Twin Maples and the DeBary Inn

We praise their generosity in allowing us to use their facilities to host our administrative retreats

The members of the administrative team of the Summit Public Schools would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Fortnightly Club Twin Maples and the DeBary Inn for their generosity in allowing us to use their facilities to host our administrative retreats both this past June 2011 and June 2010.

Due to state restrictions that prohibit us from utilizing any funds to rent a space, these two establishments hosted our group for the two-day retreats in their gracious accommodations.

The administrative team gathers for two full days to work on projects or initiatives generated by our district focus areas the will assist us in serving the students of the Summit Public Schools. The retreat provides an opportunity for us to closely examine needs, reflect on current practices, and develop action plans related to our goals.  Both the DeBary Inn (2010) and the Fortnightly Club (2011) offered us the opportunity to work collaboratively to meet our professional goals.

Thank you very much to the DeBary Inn and the Fortnightly Club!
