Coach Davidson: Men's Lacrosse Team is 'Off to a Good Start'

In this week's Coaches Corner, Jim Davidson talks about the season so far as well as the team's goals and desire to compete in the upcoming county and state tournaments.

Less than a week after a big 9-2 win over Chatham, the Summit Hilltoppers Men's Lacrosse Team (8-2) is moving closer to the county and state tournaments.

Led by longtime coach Jim Davidson, the Hilltoppers head into the second half of the season with a fifth place standing in the conference. The team fell 9-8 to rival team Delbarton Wednesday, but have experienced significant victories thus far over teams including a dominant 11-0 victory over Ramapo on April 15.

On Saturday, the team will take on West Morris at home in an 11 a.m. match-up at the Tatlock Sports Complex.
