The boys' cross country team opened the season Friday night at the Randolph Invitational.

While Coach Neal Sharma said the conditions slowed the times, the Hilltoppers turned in many competitive efforts.

The Varsity were led by personal bests by Thomas Chin, 7th overall, and Jesse Taylor.  The freshmen squad finished 4th overall in a very competitive field.

The boys' next race is a dual meet against Rahway on Tuesday. For a full preview of the boys' season, check Summit Patch tomorrow.
