Summit Y 5K Run, Walk, Tot Trot

The Summit Y will hold its annual 5K run, 2 mile walk and tot trot on Sunday, October 24. This event is a benefit for the Summit Area Y Community Outreach Programs, and is a memorial run in honor of Dr. Eric Munoz, a long time Y member and NJ State Assemblyman.

Registration is ongoing either in person at the Y, or by mail. Download an application form at www.summitareaymca.org.  Pre race registration ends October 17. Same day race registration runs from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm.  5K race starts at 1:00 pm, Tot Trot starts at 12:30 pm, 2 mile walk starts at 1:15 pm. This is a USATF, NJ 500 Point Grand Prix Event.

Race starts at Maple and Broad Streets, near Summit Village Green, course is through Summit neighborhoods, rolling hills and flats. Public parking is available at the Broad Street Garage.
