Girls Soccer Falls to Chatham

Chatham's girls soccer team defeated Summit over the weekend.

How did your favorite sports teams from Chatham High School do this weekend?

The girls soccer team fell to Parsippany Hills Friday, but turned it around to defeat Summit Saturday. Kelsey Burke, Emily Hoffman, and Emily Walczyk all scored goals, while Lina Proska had two assists and Kara McMahon had one assist. Casey Madura had three saves and Morgan Maltby 12 saves combined for the shutout.

The JV girls soccer team raised their record to 2 - 0 on the season with a  1-0 victory. Lindsey Carson slid a beautiful ball from Megan Guenther into the lower right corner for the game wither with 10 minutes left in the second half. Defensively, Melanie Muir, Kelsey Terry and Kelly Moore shut down the Summit attack. Caroline Viscovich made five saves for the shut out.
