Hilltoppers Dominate Cranford in Season Opener

Boys lacrosse squad extends win streak to 46 games in victory over the Cougars.

The lacrosse team extended its win streak to 46 games with a dominant performance on opening day against the Cranford High School Cougars at home on Friday afternoon, winning 13-1.

IN SHORT
The Hilltoppers played a dominant game to open the season and almost secured a shutout. But Cranford wouldn't lay down without a fight. Cougar Luke Diano scored Cranford's only goal with 10:51 left in the third quarter.

Ford, a senior attacker, starts the 2011 season strong after closing out 2010 with 30 goals and 14 assists.
