Hilltoppers Ice Governor Livingston

Mercy rule comes into effect after Summit boys hockey team scores 11 goals.

The Game: After two tough games against Chatham and Cranford, the boys hockey team was looking for a big game against Governor Livingston to get them back to their winning ways.  At first, it looked like the Hilltoppers might be in trouble yet again when Governor Livingston scored early in the first period to start the game 1-0.

However, apart from that one goal, the game was all Summit.  The Hilltoppers answered quickly back... with the next 11 goals!

In a rare occurence, the game was called after the second period; after Mike Badgley, #10, scored Summit's 11th, and final, goal.
