Hilltoppers Advance to UCT Semifinals

Summit tops Dayton, 11-1.

The Game:

's boys hockey team jumped out to a great start in their playoff run with an 11-1 win over Dayton High School. The Hilltoppers didn't even play for the full three periods before the referees called the game with more than six minutes to go in the third period.

It seemed like Summit controlled the puck for the entire game.  It was a rare sight to have the puck past Summit's blue-line.  In fact, Dayton's only goal game on an unexpected shot after a faceoff.  But by then, Summit was already leading by a dominating eight goals.  In the next period, Summit had scored another three goals, and the game was over.
