Oratory Prep Shuts Out Newark Academy in State Semis
Salvatore Mercurio scored two goals to lead the Rams to victory.
Oratory Prep's varsity soccer team blanked Newark Academy, 3-0, Tuesday in Livingston to win the semifinal round of the NJSIAA Non Public B State Tournament.
Scoring two goals for Oratory was Salvatore Mercurio. Gus Curtiss also scored a goal and James Gagliano had an assist, according to NJ.com.
Oratory heads into the state finals Thursday.
