Sideline Report: Boys LAX 'Played Hard and Smart'

Summit Boys Lacrosse Coach Jim Davidson praised the efforts of the entire Hilltoppers team following Wednesdays 14-3 win over Glen Rock.

A strong first half that saw at least two players with multiple goals led to a 14-3 win over Glen Rock Wednesday night for the Summit Boys Lacrosse team.

"The team got off to a great start," said Coach Jim Davidson, whose team record for the season now stands at 10-2.

With two goals each from Austin Carbone and Matt Maier in the first half of the game and a top-notch performance by Brian Hadley, Davidson praised the entire team for their collective performance.

"We had balanced scoring and Brian Hadley did an outstanding job on the faceoffs," Davidson said. "We wanted to make sure we played hard and smart the entire game. The entire team responed well and played a complete game."

The team's next matchup takes place at home Monday at 4 p.m. against Columbia High School (4-9).
