Soccer Club Chelsea U11 Girls Win Chatham Memorial Day Tournament
Team defeats the Parsipanny Fusion 5-0.
The Summit Chelsea team outscored their opponents 12-0 to win the Chatham Memorial Day Tournament. On Saturday the girls started out strong by beating the Millburn Hornets 4-0. The second game of the day was against the host of the tournament Chatham Lady Tigers. Both teams played hard in the heat ending with a 0-0 tie.
On Sunday, Chelsea returned to Chatham with the goal to win the tournament. The girls dominated the first game against the Livingston Lady Lions winning 3-0. The team's success continued in their last game easily beating Parsipanny Fusion 5-0. The weekend highlighted the girls effort, love and dedication to the game with excellent passing, scoring and a wall of a defense.
