The holidays are usually a great time to laugh and be merry. But one thing that's usually inevitable is the increase in waist-size from the abundance of food we eat and drink with family and friends.
This weekend, the will hold a free group run. It gives anyone with a need to break a sweat and log a couple of miles on the streets of the Hill City a chance to do it as a group.
"We're trying to get people of all abilities to come," said Jacob Edwards, a manager at the store and a running coach. "We run 3 to 5 miles. We want people in town to meet other runners and get motivation to hit the pavement."
Edwards says all ages are welcome and everyone will be encouraged to run at their own pace.
