Home for Good Dog Rescue, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Summit, recently sent three Junior Ambassadors to Georgia to visit animal shelters. Their project while there was to each pick a dog from a shelter, medicate and vaccinate the dog, and arrange transportation for each to New Jersey. The Ambassadors will now arrange their spay-neuter, place each dog in foster and see each dog through to their forever home. This organization rescued 100 dogs on the Georgia trip and a private jet owner in Morristown transported 15 of those dogs to New Jersey last week. Check summit.patch.com later this week for our feature article about the Ambassadors’ journey to Georgia.
