This is the “reel deal.” Celebrate 60 years of great fishing at Summit’s Annual PAL Fishing Derby, sponsored by the Summit PAL, along with Summit Community Programs. This two-day event is set to take place, rain or shine, at the Summit Municipal Golf Course on Saturday, April 26th and Sunday, April 27th from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Free hot dogs and soda will be served.
Scotty McMuni, official icon of the Summit “Muni,” will be “trout and about” to support the event and maybe even catch a fish or two of his own. Event-goers are advised to bring their own rod and reel. Bait, poles and tackle will be for sale at the event.
All Summit residents and their guests are invited to attend. No membership to the Municipal Golf Course is required. Show your support for the Summit PAL and celebrate 60 fun-filled years of fishing.
