It was a night to remember for newlywed couple, Cynthia and Tim McNamara. As promised by her now husband, Mrs. McNamara received a Grand Fireworks Display on the night of her wedding. The two were welcomed on stage during the countdown to the Annual Fireworks Show and even enjoyed a special serenade from The Cameos in Concert prior to the Show. For Summit residents in attendance at the 67th Annual Fourth of July Celebration, it was a truly special moment watching Mr. McNamara, an active reserve Marine, enjoy a newlywed dance with his wife.
The couple was married in a Fourth of July Ceremony at Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit, NJ. Following the ceremony, the couple celebrated newlywed bliss along with a few thousand Summit residents in a one-of-a-kind Fourth of July reception. Several onlookers were overcome with emotion as this romantic duo swept the stage and danced their way into the hearts of adoring fans spread out across Memorial Field. A classic, on-stage “dip” during the newlywed’s dance was reminiscent of the iconic 1940’s “Last Kiss” photograph.
Mr. and Mrs. McNamara will enjoy their honeymoon in Wildwood, NJ. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness and joy for one of Summit’s newest married couples.
