Lieutenant Governor to visit First Aid Squad this Friday

Lieutenant Governor and Port Authority to help dedicate WTC memorial.

Governor Chris Christie’s office has announced that Lieutenant Governor Kim Guadagno along with representatives from The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey will be visiting the Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad to dedicate the World Trade Center artifact on display at Squad headquarters.

The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 2:30 PM on Friday, September 28th at the First Aid Squad building (54-46 Elm St) in Summit.

The WTC artifact was given to the First Aid Squad last year as an acknowledgement of the significant response from Squad volunteers in the hours and days following the September 11, 2001 attacks and also in honor of Fist Aid Squad volunteer Ian Thompson who was killed in the attack.
