A Summit High School student was struck by a car that fled the scene shortly after 3 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, police said.

Summit Public Schools Superintendent, Dr. Nathan Parker, will leave the district at the end of the 2014-15 school year, it was announced at Thursday evening's Board of Education meeting.

Skakel, now 53 years old, spent 11 of those years a prisoner, convicted in 2002 of killing his neighbor Martha Moxley, daughter of Summit resident Dorthy Moxley, with a golf club in the exclusive Belle Haven section of Greenwich on Halloween Eve in 1975, when both were 15 years old.
