On Saturday, December 14, from 2:00 – 2:45 PM, the library will present a “Winter Celebration of Light:  Tales and Tunes of Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Divali” with Jeslyn Wheeless and “Jolly Old Ben”.  This program is for children in kindergarten through grade 5 and will include a quartet of fourth- and fifth-grade girls from Continuo Arts, a piano solo by a fifth-grade boy, in addition to explanations of the four holidays with stories and songs.  For example, children will learn Swahili words in the song, “Jambo Bwana,” to celebrate Kwanzaa.
