THE BEST MAN by Gore Vidal Opens October 19th

The Summit Playhouse will begin our 95th season on October 19th with our 304th production - THE BEST MAN by Gore Vidal.

THE BEST MAN is a 1960 play set around the presidential convention in Philadelphia in the summer of that year. An ethical man runs for the nomination against an “unscrupulous” man and a liberal, likable, forceful and humorous candidate. “A sophisticated, elegant, damnably entertaining play!”-The New Yorker. “THE BEST MAN is a winner!
