THE BEST MAN by Gore Vidal Opens October 19th

The Best Man by Gore Vidal at Summit playhouse opens October 19th

Hello Theatre Lovers,

The Summit Playhouse will begin our 95th season on October 19th with our 304th production - THE BEST MAN by Gore Vidal.

THE BEST MAN is a 1960 play set around the presidential convention in Philadelphia in the summer of that year. An ethical man runs for the nomination against an “unscrupulous” man and a liberal, likable, forceful and humorous candidate. “A sophisticated, elegant, damnably entertaining play!”-The New Yorker. “THE BEST MAN is a winner! Extraordinarily fresh, witty, sharp and relevant.”-NY Daily News.
