Here is another timely commentary regarding President Obama’s strange affection for the Muslim Brotherhood & their former control of the Egyptian government. Just yesterday, it was announced that Obama has decided to ‘punish’ the Egyptian military by withholding and re-directing hundreds of millions of military aid that had been promised.
Personally, I thought the current ruling Egyptian military should be rewarded for their efforts in ridding the government of the Muslim Brotherhood. Apparently, Obama feels otherwise.
And, the Egyptian people have noticed this not-so-subtle support for the Brotherhood, & are rather angry at this lack of support.
The military has also announced that they are now reviewing the ‘special accord’ that was given previously to the United States for their ships traveling through the Suez Canal, as some sort of possible retaliation against President Obama’s decision. Nice going Mr. President!
