I've been here twice, and both times left underwhelmed. I would like to like this restaurant, but there are far better dining options in the area.
I believe the idea is that they are supposed to serve comfort food -- warm cheesy things, teas and the like, but they serve it in an awfully uncomfortable environment. I would think that with the music, fixtures and sleek plating that they would serve haute cuisine club-style, but it's simply an identity crisis. Undersized, cramped tables, steely blue nightclub lighting, blaring music (even during Sunday brunch across the tiny table, I couldn't hear my dining partner speak.) Our waiters were inattentive both times we came, because they were busy preparing drinks at the coffee bar and swimming in and out of the maze of cramped tables.
For $9, My "one-eyed pete" for brunch came with two eggs, 2 slices of bacon, and frozen, McDonalds-style hash brown patty. I suppose the composition on the plate looked pretty, but frozen hash browns are a disgusting rarity I expect to only find at a drive through for 99 cents. The $3 coffee was not tasty or large enough for $3. I tend to think of brunch as "2 meals in one", but we left unsatisfied and wondering why we didn't go to a diner.
The second time I visited, I had lobster mac & cheese. The cheese was so heavy handed that my mouth felt greasy, and I couldn't taste any lobster.
When it comes to comfort food, I'm going to stick to Beacon Hill or a diner.

"A swing and a miss" as they say. Contemporary name, look and feel is all this place has (4 out of 5 stars) because the inattentive staff, limited menu and so-so food is a 3 out of 5 stars at best.
