This is strictly a take-out joint. Pizza is pretty good, but the service is about the worst that I've experienced of all the restaurants in town. They've left off items from my order a number of times and shrugged it off when I inquired about them. Placed a $200+ catering order with them one time and they acted like I was inconveniencing them. Strange.

The bad ratings sound like competitors. Joe's pizza is great, and tied with the best we've had in the tri-state area. We especially like that they have an extra large size, and also whole wheat crust available.

As for manners, we haven't had a problem with that, but then again, we love soccer as do they apparently, and also we order every week or two. A major piece of advice anywhere is not to order takeout let alone delivery on a Friday or Saturday night.

These are our families take out favorites. Pizza is excellent. The marinara sauce that goes with the garlic knots is off the hook along with the pasta fagioli soup.

Okay - I'm willing to concede that the Joe's staff is not really "warm and fuzzy" but the amount of food they churn out on any given night is pretty astounding.

I've never had a problem with deliver (other than an exceptionally long wait - which they said originally that it would be)....and we LOVE the food there. Chicken parm is fantastic and more than ample food for me and my 11 year old daughter - so its really a good dollar value as well. I tend to just swing by and pick it up though after calling in the order - its a much better bet than delivery (because they do charge a delivery fee).

I use to order from here regularly until a strange incident. I usually pick up but one weekend had the pizza delivered. Waited over an hour and no show (told me it was going to take 45 mins). Called to check in and was told it was on its way. 30 mins later nothing. Called again. Was told it was on its way. 30 mins later the pizzas came. Not really a big deal . . no real fuss was made on my part . . busy weekend and all. The next friday, my wife orders the usual friday night pizza for the family and I pick it up on the way home. I give my name to the lady the behind the register. She turns and tells one of the staff, who reaches up to grab the pizzas but then another guy (who was the owner ) says something to him, he shrugs his shoulders, and he puts the pizzas back on top of the oven. I don't really think much of it. They make me wait 15 mins and then finally tell me my pizzas are ready. I watch incredulously as she grabs the same pizzas that were sitting on top of the oven for the past 15 mins. I stood there dumbfounded and instead of just walking out without the lukewarm pizzas, I paid for them and went on my way vowing never to spend my $$$ there again. Later, I'm told through friends and neighbors of similar experiences. A really bizarre way to run a retail operation. There are at least 5 other places to get equivalent or better pizza in Summit where your hard earned $$$ will be better served. I advise to avoid this place.

The staff is extremely rude, the pizza was almost thrown in my face and when i added something to my order, the cashier rolled his eyes and grunted and pizza was not all that great... i wouldnt recommend it!
