I did not like my experience at Salon 4 Kids. We were a walk in, which they said was fine. It was almost an hour before closing but they had the floors mopped and wet.There were two ladies and they commented how there is an appointment coming up. They put my boys in these cars/chairs (which are in need of repair), and then it was like a race. The appointment comes in, and I felt that they were rushing even more. My younger one did not want to sit still, and I felt pressured by this lady to get him to not move (he is 19 months). Then for my older one I asked not to cut his banks straight, she nods and then DOES it anyway. All I wanted it was more natural look. They don't dry their hair, and I end up having to brush all the extra hair from their necks. That should not be my job. When it was time to pay, they tell me they don't except credit cards. I could not see any sign that says so. Then I had to go to my bank, but she tells me to hurry up because they are closing in few minutes. I asked what time they close, she says at 6, and it's not even 5:30. I just felt rushed so much and stressed so much. This was first hair cut for my baby. I wanted it little more special. I went to my bank and left only $3 tip, even though they did not deserve it. It's a rip off for the service they provide. Being a kids hair dresser, you should either be very good with kids, or very good at cutting hair. They were non.
