The Summit Community Center is home to the Department of Community Programs, formerly the Summit Board of Recreation. The facility features seven acres of parkland with a gymnasium, recreation offices, meeting rooms, soccer/softball/baseball field and basketball court. The Department of Community Programs offers a wide variety of recreation activities for seniors, families and youth, including sports. Look for program brochure mailings delivered to Summit residents throughout the year.

The Community Center is the site for many Summit Seniors events, including exercise classes, discussion groups, college courses and Bridge games.
