The Summit Family Aquatic Center is the city’s “hottest place to cool off!” The main pool is a heated, long course (100-yard), L-shaped pool that features a fully accessible ramp, a serpentine slide, drop slide and diving board. The family leisure pool features a zero depth entrance and interactive water toys, including geysers, for families and young children. The facility also features a children's playground, sand volleyball court and full-service lunch, dinner and snack concession stand. 

The Summit Family Aquatic Center (FAC) is home to the Summit Sharks swim team. The FAC also hosts a swim program along with special events, concerts and social events. During “Splash & Learn” events, which are scheduled throughout the summer months, community organizations provide education and recreation programs on site. Free Aquacise classes are offered for senior citizens and, in August, the FAC hosts a “Coffee House Sunday Nights” concert series. The Family Aquatic Center also hosts Jive and Dive dances for teens and family beach bashes.

The Summit Family Aquatic Center opens for the season on Memorial Day weekend and closes on Labor Day. It is open from 11am to 8pm on weekends and from noon to 8pm on weekdays, and the leisure pool opens at 10am on Tuesdays and Thursdays for mothers and small children.
