Having an older car ('99 volvo) can be stressful as things start to go wrong. We struggled with selling or fixing our car and needed a reliable vehicle without wanting to sink a fortune into a "money pit".
With absolutley no pressure, Jay worked with us (and educated us) on the pros/cons of fixing vs. buying new. In the end we decided to have Jay do the work and he did a great job. He was friendly, accommodating , and did first class work at a reasonable price.

Jay is a genius! He fixed the A/C in my '97 Volvo S70 and changed my life. I referred him to my friend Steve, a Volvo owner with an A/C issue, and he fixed his too. I highly recommend Jay if you love your Volvo and want it to last.

Wow!!
I am so impressed with Jay Coates, his wife Jackie and even their daughter. I bought an old Saab from them and feel like Jay's available any time for help and advice. Jackie patiently taught me to drive stick shift on her own vehicle. They are caring and sincere, honorable people; twice after purchasing and attempting to drive back to Missouri the 1987 900S suffered from clutch catastrophies but they paid for towing and repairs.
Not only do I feel welcome back anytime just to visit or learn about old Saabs, I feel like I've made friends for life!
