This African Methodist Episcopal Zion church was established in 1923. Before acquiring its first building in 1928, the congregation gathered at the local YMCA. That building was razed in 1936 for the construction of the church's present-day facility. Today, the church offers a range of service-related ministries and educational opportunities corresponding to the AME Zion mission.
