Ahrre's Celebrates Anniversary With Coffee Giveaway

Enjoy a free cup in Summit or Westfield.

With this cold, winter weather filling the air, what better way to warm up than with a free cup of coffee? To celebrate more than two decades in Westfield and six months in Summit, Ahrre Maros, owner of Ahrre's Coffee Roastery, is offering customers a free cup of coffee all day, every day, from February 11th through 15th. Coffee lovers can stop by either location and enjoy one free cup per customer every 30 minutes. Raised in Summit, Maros fell in love with everything about the coffee culture back in the mid-1980's, when he was living and going to school in the San Francisco Bay area. A Cup of Coffee With Ahrre Maros

The Westfield business owner went from folk music fan to concert series organizer.

When Ahrre Maros, owner of Ahrre's Coffee Roastery, was in his mid-20s, he didn't know what he wanted to do with his life, but he knew what he liked—coffee and live music. Since then, Maros, who was born and raised in Summit, has devoted his career and much of his free time to pursuing those passions. The owner of the Elm Street coffee haven confessed, however, that he ended up in his profession rather randomly. Maros explained that one holiday season he returned to Summit from Berkeley, CA where he had been going to school. He and a friend visiting from the West Coast set off on a rainy Sunday afternoon in search of a good cup of coffee.
