On President’s Day, the Hat Tavern, will donate 10 percent of the day's proceeds to support Summit High School’s participation in this summer's Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Simply enjoy a delicious lunch, dinner, take-out or happy hour at “The Hat” on Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, and you too will contribute to the SHS Performing Arts summer trip. “We are so grateful to the Hat Tavern for this support,” said Anne Poyner, director of Performing Arts at Summit High School. “We will be staging the Tony-award-winning musical Urinetown in Scotland, and we need to raise funds to cover all the production costs—music rights, staging, costumes, printing programs, and so on.
