Planning Board Backs Franklin Place Condos

The 16-unit complex will be built on former Infiniti dealership site.

A nearly decade-old eyesore at 68 Franklin Place will be getting a makeover, thanks to Summit Planning Board's approval of a plan to build a condominium complex on the site of a former Infiniti car dealership. On Monday night, the board unanimously decided to considered the "preliminary and final major site plan approval with variances to construct a 16 unit building." The planning board gave the go-ahead to phase one in the development that would be built over the location of a former Infiniti dealership that burned to the ground nearly eight years ago.
