The Weekender: Pirates, Bears and Ducks, Oh My!

A variety of events await you this weekend. There's outdoor fun and discussions about adventures from ship to shore.

This weekend is filled with exciting and wonderful things for families to do. The Children’s Theater in Westfield is presenting, “How I Became a Pirate.” To remain on the open seas, New Providence Memorial Library is hosting a presentation, “Titanic Survivors and Their Stories.” The “bear” necessities brings us to Berkeley Heights Public Library with a lecture on “How to Become a Bear-Smart Community." If bears are not for you, maybe a featherless friend would be better. The Rubber Ducky Festival Race and Car Show takes place on Saturday.
