Richard Hanley was sworn in as the newest member of the Summit Board of Education on Thursday night during the board's meeting at Lincoln-Hubbard School. Hanley was appointed to the board to replace Elizabeth Ann Burton, who is moving to Colorado Springs, CO with her family. Hanley was sworn in with his wife and children by his side. Mayor Ellen Dickson was also present for the ceremony. Hanley's term will expire in 2015.
