Classes run for eight weeks from 10 a.m. to 11:15 a.m..
The following information was provided by SAGE Eldercare. Beginning on Monday, April 22 from 10:00 am to 11:15 am and running for eight weeks, SAGE Eldercare will host a series of classes entitled, “Gentle Yoga,” especially for adults of all ages with Parkinson’s and movement disorders. The program will give those coping with Parkinson’s disease, both patients and caregivers, an opportunity to experiment, enjoy a sense of grace, and play with music and movement. Studies have shown that gentle yoga and meditation may result in a visible reduction in tremors, improve steadiness of gait, mobility, flexibility and quality of life. On April 16 the founder of Memories Live will speak at SAGE Eldercare.
The following information was provided by SAGE Eldercare. SAGE Eldercare welcomes Kerry Glass, founder of the non-profit Memories Live, on Tuesday, April 16 from 1:00 pm to 2:15 pm. Glass will talk about how her organization helps to empower those with life-limiting illnesses and the importance of leaving a legacy for those left behind.
