Beginning on Monday, April 22 from 10:00 am to 11:15 am and running for eight weeks, SAGE Eldercare will host a series of classes entitled, “Gentle Yoga,” especially for adults of all ages with Parkinson’s and movement disorders. The program will give those coping with Parkinson’s disease, both patients and caregivers, an opportunity to experiment, enjoy a sense of grace, and play with music and movement. Studies have shown that gentle yoga and meditation may result in a visible reduction in tremors, improve steadiness of gait, mobility, flexibility and quality of life.
