Summit To Play In Sectional State Final at MetLife Stadium Today

Hilltoppers will face Palisades Park. Tickets range from $3 to $10. Wear maroon and white to the game!

The Summit High School Varsity Football Team is headed to Metlife Satdium in East Rutherford on today, Dec. 8 at 4 p.m.  They will be competing for the NJSIAA Sectional State Championship.  The Summit Hilltoppers take on Palisades Park High School.  Here is some important information for all Summit fans headed to the game: TICKET PRICES: CASH ONLY GENERAL ADMISSION/ ADULTS................$ 9 STUDENTS (K-12) & SENIOR CITIZENS.....$ 3 PARKING........$10 Show your Summit Pride by wearing maroon and white.  Nothing to wear? Brilliant Season Ends for Summit

Hilltoppers' football finishes 11-1 after loss in title game.

UNION -- When it comes to state tournament football there’s no shame in losing to good teams that have great players. The Hilltoppers had a terrific season but they had not come against a team as good as Madison and a player as talented as Justin Goodwin in some time. Madison’s junior tailback put on a show, rushing for 164 yards and two touchdowns and passing for another score to lift Madison to a 47-7 victory over Summit to capture the North 2, Group II state title on Friday night on the turf at Kean University. Summit completed its season at 11-1. A four-yard sweep by Kyr’e Negron with 6:26 left in the second quarter was the Hilltoppers only score.
