April 15, 2013: At 10:36 a.m., police received a report of criminal mischief at a Blackburn Road private school. Four landscaping lights valued at $50.00 each were found broken. April 15, 2013:  At 5:00 p.m., Bashe, Andrew L., 30, of Plainfield was arrested at Beauvoir Avenue for Assault Aggravated on Law Enforcement. James, 24, of Newark was arrested at Glenwood Place for Trespassing Defiant and Possession of 50 Grams or Less Marijuana.

The following information was provided by the Summit Police Department. April 8, 2013: At 9:37 p.m. Summit Police received a report of an attempted forced entry to an apartment on Locust Drive at approximately 9:30 p.m. Before police arrived, the actor had already fled the scene.

April 5, 2013: 7:40a.m., report of burglary and theft from a DeForest Avenue professional building office. Approximately $1,100 in cash was taken from a desk drawer. April 5, 2013: 10:24a.m., report of burglary to a DeForest Avenue professional building office. Nothing reported disturbed or missing at this time. April 5, 2013: 10:26a.m., report of attempted forced entry to a DeForest Avenue professional building vacant office.

March 8, 2013: At 11:54 a.m. police received a report of theft of Ariens snowblower valued at $700.00 from the property of a Tanglewood Drive resident sometime between Feb. 8 and March 8. March 14, 2013: At 6:31 a.m. police received report of theft from vehicle while it was parked in a Gloucester Road residential driveway sometime between 11:00 p.m. on March 13 and 6 a.m. on March 14. Reported missing were an Ipad 64, an Iphone 4s, black leather computer bag, black Beats wireless head phones and a NorthFace fleece jacket (black/blue). Total value of items stolen $1,500. The following information was provided by the Summit Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.  March 9, 2013: At 5:17 p.m. police arrested Linda Whiteley,71, of Summit at a residence for Arson Aggravated. According to U.S. Legal Defintions, "Aggravated Arson is an arson accompanied by some aggravating factor, as when the offender foresees or anticipates that one or more persons will be in or near the property being burned."
