Kevin Kostibos Becomes New Head Coach of Summit Football Team

Summit Board of Education approved Kostibos for position on Thursday night. He replaces former head coach John Liberato, who announced his retirement in January.

The Summit Board of Education approved Kevin Kostibos as the new Summit High School Varsity Head Football Coach at Thursday night's meeting, which was held at Franklin Elementary School. Coach Kostibos replaces John Liberato who has retired from his role as head coach in order to spend more time with his family and watch his two sons play college ball. Kostibos teaches at Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School, coaches JV baseball at SHS and is a wrestling assistant coach at LCJSMS. He has been a coordinator for Summit's football program for the past six seasons.
