Summit High School Student Council To Host 'Winter Festival' Dec. 21
This fundraiser will benefit Sandy relief and clubs at Summit High School. Activities include photo booth, arts and crafts, carnival games, silent auction, and baked goods.
During the last day of school in 2012, Friday, Dec. 21, the Summit High School student council will host the “Winter Festival,” which will take place all day during students' physical education periods. The festival is a fundraiser, with half the money raised going to Hurricane Sandy relief and the other 50 percent being divided evenly among SHS clubs. The second year of this event will, once again, have a photo booth area, arts and craft station, and carnival games. Additionally, students can participate in a basketball tournament, football toss, or ping-pong contest.
