Springfield Teen's Jump From Seaside Heights Skyride Hits the Internet
Storms were brewing when YouTube video was shot
Melanie Rossomando has leapt into web notoriety. A video showing the Springfield teen jumping from the Skyride in Seaside Heights is spreading throughout the Internet. A video Rossomando jumping from the Skyride, the aerial tramway that runs about 30 feet above boardwalk, down to the beach below had more than 13,000 views Monday morning. The video, shot as strong thunderstorms were beginning to roll into the area Saturday night, shows the Skyride stationary, presumably from a loss of electrical power due to the storms. "Oh my God, look, they got stuck," shouts the person who took the video, as the camera points toward the ride.
