Summit Woman Struck by Car Crossing Broad Street

Victim was on her way to the bus stop when she was hit.

A Summit woman, 50, en route to the bus stop Tuesday morning was crossing Broad Street from the corner of Maple Street when she was struck by a car traveling south on Maple, according to NJ.com. 

The victim was transported to Overlook Medical Center, where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver was issued a summons for careless driving.
