Victim Extricated From Multi-Vehicle Crash

Injuries were not life-threatening, according to police.

One person needed to be extricated in a multi-vehicle rollover crash Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Mountain Avenue and Elm Street.

Summit Police Capt. Steven Zagroski said one victim needed to be extricated from a vehicle but added that the injuries were not life-threatening from the crash that occurred at about 2:30 p.m.

The Summit Fire Department and Volunteer Rescue Squad were also at the scene, Zagorski said. 

The accident remains under investigation.
